Rin Coleridge, COXO

It is my great pleasure to announce the promotion of Rin Coleridge to be SFHSS’ next Chief Operating and Experience Officer (COXO). It was critical that we find the right leader who can develop and implement a comprehensive customer experience strategy and drive innovation and improvement. Our members are at the center of what we do and improving their experience is our  most important responsibility. I am confident Rin has what it takes to lead and modernize our operations and how we serve our members.

Rin joined the Health Service System (HSS) in 2013 as the Enterprise Systems and Analytics Manager and HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer. During Rin’s tenure, HSS has greatly benefited from Rin’s problem-solving approach and analytical mind.

While overseeing our systems and data functions, Rin has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to bring innovative solutions to the forefront. I have personally witnessed how much Rin’s team respects and appreciates Rin’s leadership, and now, our entire Operations Division will benefit from Rin’s thoughtful approach and collaborative leadership style.

August is National Wellness Month. National Wellness Month focuses on practices like stress management, self-care, implementing healthy routines, and improving your overall health and wellness. National Wellness Month celebrates all the different types of health and healthcare: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

In order to prioritize wellness, consider spending 15-30 minutes per day doing something that you love such as working out, or spending time with friends and family. Consider taking up a hobby that helps you to decompress and take time away from work. I personally enjoy spending 30 minutes every night building LEGO sets. I find that such activity significantly helps in relieving stress and fostering a sense of accomplishment. Here are some of the key benefits of this hobby:

  • Mindfulness: Building with LEGO requires focus on details, promoting mindfulness and reducing anxiety.

  • Cognitive Benefits: The activity enhances problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and fine motor skills, which are beneficial for mental well-being.

  • Structured Activity: Following instructions or creating original designs provides a sense of purpose and accomplishment.

Make some time for your health and wellness starting today!

In good health,

Rey Guillen
