Mehreen M. Khan

I was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Potomac, Maryland. I moved with my family to Pakistan in my early teens. After medical school I returned to the U.S. and completed Internal Medicine training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Throughout medical school and internship, I frequently rotated with the Endocrinology department. I was attracted to endocrinology, which was complex yet also very logical and rooted in physiology - one of my favorite subjects. Following residency, I completed my Endocrinology Fellowship at the same institution. Fellowship has prepared me well to embark on a new career with Kaiser Permanente.
